While I was in the Nagasaki Port, I came across hundreds of Chinese tourist heading back to a ferry ship. It seems that they are going home from a trip in Nagasaki and are continuing their travels. While holding what seem to be plastic bags full of souvenirs, foods and goods, they walk while chatting in a very high pitched voice, especially the ladies. This reminded me of when I stumbled across a group of tourist in Otaru Canal.
Before the age of airplanes, the ocean is what connects Japan and China. Their connection range in different aspect: Buddhism, art, culture, trade, and tourism.
