This is a recording during lunch around 11 in Han Da Nang market. Coincidently, my lodge was right across the market. For your information, Han market or Central Da Nang Market was opened in the early 1940s during the French colonial government occupation in the city. In 1989 the market was renovated with an area that covers 28.000 square meters, consisted of two floors. Nowadays this market, located near the Han river, is always crowded with local buyers and tourists alike. There were various items being traded. From fruits and vegetables, food, various merchandise, souvenirs, to clothes.
I could very much still feel the hustle and bustle of the market in the afternoon. The sounds of people trading, conversations between merchants, and of course the sound of plates, bowls, and spoons because I put my microphone close to a food stall while enjoying my lunch.
