After a day of going around ancient city Hoi An, I decided to go back to Da Nang with a bus that departs from the terminal at 7.30 in the evening. The bus was mostly filled with local merchants. There were only a handful of travellers such as myself. There was a group of women with carrying sacks. Sacks that they placed at the front of the bus, while they sit in the middle section. This sight reminded me of the bus from Solo to Sragen, Central Java that I usually take when going to my hometown.
This is the recording of the bus. The group of women was conversing with a man. The sound of the bus engine accompanied with the occasional honks of the bus. The loose windows of the bus also create a crackle sound. When the bus stops to let people off the bus, the atmosphere becomes slightly calmer.
The man beside me received some phone calls during this bus ride. He talks in a loud manner. According to the ringtone, the phone was an old model that still uses polyphonic ringtones. The younger passengers were also playing their phones that was a newer model than the one the man beside me had. The bus moves forward, and I keep recording.
