Still in Yen Minh, I woke up at 8.30 in the morning. I planned to depart early in the morning, since the northern loop is still a long way to go. After getting ready, I finally departed at 9.30. not long after I departed, I was distracted by the sound of a market, so I decided to stop and record the soundscape.
It is an interesting traditional market, different from the traditional markets in the city. The merchants here sell their goods on the ground layered with some mats. The market sells a variety of goods, such as vegetables, fish, beef, pork, and even live chicken.
The merchants converse with each other with peculiar intonations. Chickens are crowing, and some are screeching as they are being caught to be sold. You can hear motorcycles passing the marker once in a while, and also the sound of transactions. Different from Yen Minh at night, in the morning it shows the spirit of life.
